As per current COVID rules we are allowing 6 people per plot. This includes all children. Should these rules change we will notify all ticket holders and update our social media and website.
Update: 31/07/21 - The above rule is correct for all standard plots. This can be extended in any of our premium plots or above to 8 inclusive of children below 6.
Do we drive our car to the plot?
No we are not a drive in event. You park your car in the car park and then make your way on foot to your pre-booked plot.
Is parking included in the ticket price?
Yes parking is included. You can upgrade to EXPRESS parking for £10. The express car park allows you faster entry to the event and priority departure. Express parking is included in the VIP tickets. There is limited capacity of express parking at the event.
Is there Disabled parking?
For our visitors with a blue badge, you will be directed to the express car park.
Is this event suitable for wheelchair users?
We have made every effort to ensure that the event is suitable for visitors of all abilities. We have walkways which will allow the use of wheelchairs and mobility devices. There will be disabled access wet rooms at key points throughout the venues.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
You are more than welcome to come along with a picnic and drinks. Our premium plots have a picnic bench. We do ask that NO portable BBQ’s or glass are used.
Can we bring our own chairs or picnic blankets?
Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets if you wish.
Can we bring some shelter if it rains?
We are allowing the use of a small shelter under 1.2m. Please be considerate of the views and experience of other visitors is adjacent plots. Gazebos will not be permitted.
Is there a drop off point?
Yes there will be a sign posted drop off point for guests not arriving by car.
We have more than one car coming!
We are aware that more than one car may be coming with visitors. We ask where possible you arrive together or wait until your party is altogether before entering the event. Your ticket can only be scanned once.
If you have Express parking booked this must be booked for each vehicle per plot.
What time do the gates open?
The gates will open at 4:30pm. The event will start at approximately 5:30pm. A full schedule will be published prior to the event.
What time will the event finish?
We are aiming to finish by around 10:15pm Keeping in mind that our fireworks displays may not start until 10pm due to the sunset time.
Will the event go ahead in rain?
Light showers will not cause the event to be cancelled. If the weather is poor enough that a large percentage of the entertainment cannot go ahead then we have a cancellation insurance that would cover refunds for ticket holders.
Will we get a refund if the balloons can’t fly?
As ballooning is very weather dependent we are unable to offer a refund if the balloons do not fly. We do have many other fantastic elements to the event and have ensured that we are action packed from the time you arrive!
What happens in the event of another lockdown?
Should COVID-19 restrictions be put back in place. The event will be moved to an alternative date. If you are unable to make this date, you may request a refund for your ticket.
Can we bring dogs?
You are more than welcome to bring your four legged friends. However balloons are big and noisy so too are fireworks so it may not be suitable for them. If you feel that they will be happy in the environment then please do bring them along. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and any cleaned up after.
